AROUND THE TOWN celebrates PIERMONT IN ART:
Magazine Launch Party and Opening Reception for Our Art Show of the Month

Sunday, January 12th, 3:00–5:00

Please join us as we celebrate the inaugural issue of AROUND THE TOWN, a new community magazine that seeks a light-hearted approach to a variety of topics of interest in the Hudson Valley. Editor Marian Armstrong will discuss how the first issue cast a spotlight on The Hudson at Piermont, an 1852 painting by Hudson River School artist Jasper Francis Cropsey. The topic prompted a closer look at six local landscape artists who paint among us today and how they wish their work to
be remembered in the next century. Join us in the gallery for light refreshments as we appreciate a sampling of work from each artist and reflect on art in our own time. The artists featured in our PIERMONT IN ART show are:

The show will be on display throughout the month of January.  We invite you to stop by the library anytime.
