Bus Trip to Morgan Library and New York Public Library

Registration is required and is open July 5th to September 1st. Space is limited, stop in to sign-up now! Payment is due at signup; no refunds will be given.

What: This trip includes round-trip bus transportation between The Piermont Library and The New York Public Library (NYPL), a ticket for a private tour of NYPL, and a ticket for the private tour of the Morgan Library.
 

Time: Please arrive no later than 8am at the Piermont Library front porch. Waivers will need to be verified prior to boarding the bus for all participants. The bus will begin boarding at 8:15am from the Piermont Library parking lot and will depart promptly at 8:30am. The bus will not wait for late arrivals, and Library chaperones will not be responsible for ensuring participants arrive at the bus on time. The NYPL Tour will begin at 10am. When the tour ends, participants will have time for lunch. The Morgan Library Tour will begin at 1:30pm. The bus return trip home will depart promptly at 3:15pm from the NYPL. Participants are responsible for getting themselves back to the NYPL in time for bus departure. The bus will not wait for late returns, and Library chaperones will not be responsible for ensuring participants return to the bus on time.
 

Meals: Food/beverages are not included with your trip, however there will be places available for you to purchase food/beverages. At the end of the NYPL tour, participants will be given free time to eat lunch on their own; a list of lunch spot possibilities is included in registrant trip packets, but participants are responsible for getting their own food. Please note: no food or beverage is allowed during the tours.
 

Tour: Each tour is an approximately 60-minute guided tour experience through each location. The tour of the New York Public Library tour will highlight the history, architecture, and collections of the magnificent Beaux-Arts building—including the historic Rose Main Reading Room. The Morgan Library tour will include an overview of the Morgan's history, architecture, historic buildings, and collections. Both tours are a unique experience only available through private tour bookings.
