New York Times reporter Kathryn Shattuck interviews Chul Hyun about his new charismatic new memoir.  Chul's story, from early childhood in South Korea, to arriving in the US as a nineteen-year-old immigrant, to his ever-evolving journey as a respected physician and marathon runner, reveals his enduring purpose and love of family. 

Chul Hyun is a Korean American physician, author, and long-distance runner. He lives in Palisades with his wife.
