Journey 100 years back in American history!  1925 is the year that highlighted the cultural divide in the United States. There was the Scopes Monkey Trial in Dayton, Tennessee where evolution was the focus. The KKK marched up Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC. The Great Gatsby was released and highlighted the other America, one of flappers, gangsters and booze during Prohibition. Mussolini made himself Italy’s dictator, Hitler is regrouping while on probation. Red Grange’s tour may have saved the National Football League, the Grand Ole Opry started and Sears opened up its first store.

Evan Weiner is an award-winning speaker and author, with a radio and TV background.
