Join us on Sunday, April 14th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm for an opening reception for our Art Show of the Month- Images by Vivian Resnick. All are welcome! The show will feature watercolor paintings, acrylic paintings, and drawings and will be on display throughout the month of April.
From the Artist
Creating in any form is good for the soul. I love looking at the beauty around me and trying to depict it through drawing or painting. I finally found the time when I retired. There is so much beauty around us that we take for granted. We can pass a house many times and never notice how interesting a doorway may be. The process of creating is soothing and sometimes cathartic. During the COVID isolation, art work was a wonderful release. One hopes that the end result is pleasing to the artist but also to the viewer.
