Explore one of most visited areas of the Metropolitan Museum of Art: The Greek and Roman Galleries. Uncover the history of these galleries within the institution, and how the space has transformed over the decades. Visit large colossal statues of youthful gods, as well as stare face to face with busts of men who preferred to show their wrinkles and war injuries proudly. Look at the various orders of columns and view examples within the gallery, and end with a visit to Pompeii to explore an ancient bedroom frozen in time. This is the finale and Part 5 of a 5 part art museum series.
