Come and join us for World Turtle Day as members of Hudson Valley Humane Society's The Turtles of Western Highway share information about why we see so many turtles each spring leave their natural wetlands and end up in our gardens, driveways, and roadways.  We will present an overview of the life cycle and habits of this fascinating member of our natural community. Guests of honor will include Joanne Mattern, published author, with her award-winning book that includes our conservation story! Plus, you can meet a live Western Highway turtle!
