Calling all teens! It's time to get in the spooky spirit with our 2nd annual Haunted House Competition.  You can drop off your house at the Orangeburg Library anytime between Wednesday, October 16 and Tuesday, October 22.

Join us on Thursday mornings for Meditation and Chair Yoga with Debbie Broadman who will teach you various yoga poses along with a meditative journey to restore, refresh and rejuvenate your body and mind.  

Join Miss Kimberly for a story and a craft at the library! Story times will now have registration on a month-by-month basis so be on the lookout for our next sessions! Ages 2-5

Have fun with your little one with music, puppets, and a short book.  

These sessions are first come first serve. Bring a friend, meet a friend, and please bring your own materials.

An open-ended, no-rules approach to PreK art.  Kids create what they want using a variety of materials, while exploring different textures and building fine motor skills.  Dress for mess!  Sign up per session.

Join us for a reading of Jane's book: Hi, My Name is Skye! about a baby bald eagle from Rockland County! Jane will show us her pictures which chronicle the life of a baby bald eagle from West Nyack.

Listen to some books and make an easy craft with Ms. Nancy

October's theme is Fizzy Color Experiments!

Join a dedicated group that sets out for a weekly, hour long walk on the Joseph B. Clarke Rail Trail (weather permitting). Meet up at Blauvelt Free Library. 

Don't just "hang around" waiting for Halloween--register and pick up a kit to make a cute bat craft.  

Jump like a monkey, flap your wings like a bird and roar like a bear with songs and tales about animals! Watch in-person on our library's TV screen or watch from your home! 

This class will include pranayama (breath work), guided meditation, and/or mindfulness practice as well as gentle arm and leg movements while seated, opening up the joints and activating the muscles.

Bill Fellenberg will read from and discuss his memoir, Sayonara Cowboy.  A reception and book signing will follow.

Come listen to Bill recount stories of his youth from his memoir Sayonara Cowboy. Bill's coming-of-age story navigates the turbulent waters of racism, familial complexities, and the search for identity in the aftermath of World War II.
