Dr. Debra Weiss, Artistic Director of the Debra Weiss Dance Company (DWDC), will present Bailes Latinos, a series of three fitness dance classes celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, at Piermont Library on Tuesday October 1, 8, and 15 at 6:00pm. The classes will include a warm-up, core work, stretching, and cardio dance moves from the Merengue (Dominican Republic), La Bamba (Mexico), Samba (Brazil), and Mambo (Cuba) with dance instructor and choreographer Dr. Debra Weiss. Adults and teens are welcome; no previous experience is necessary. Participants should wear athletic shoes or sneakers. DWDC receives funding for its programs from the County of Rockland.
