The Making of Another Major Motion Picture by Tom Hanks is our selected book for February. Reference Librarian Barbara Chen will lead the discussion. 

For Rockland County residents, 60 and over. Rockland County Office for the Aging offers a brief presentation of their programs and services, followed by an introduction to chair yoga and meditation led by a qualified instructor.

Registered Dietitian Caitlin Rulli will talk about the Dash Diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension), and how a balanced eating plan can help lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease.

This class will include pranayama (breath work), guided meditation, and/or mindfulness practice as well as gentle arm and leg movements while seated, opening up the joints and activating the muscles.

Be inspired by famous artists of the past and present through drawing, painting, and collage.  All levels welcome.  Sign up per session.
