Teacher Linda Gottlieb will instruct attendees in the play and basic strategy of Mahjongg.

Jump like a monkey, flap your wings like a bird and roar like a bear with songs and tales about animals! Watch in-person on our library's TV screen or watch from your home! 

Designed for children with sensitivities to input from sounds, lights and tactile stimulus, this sensory-friendly program engages the whole child through music, movement, and multi-sensory activities in a gentle environment.

Chris Raccioppi has taught drawing for the Blauvelt Free Library for over 15 years.

This class will include pranayama (breath work), guided meditation, and/or mindfulness practice as well as gentle arm and leg movements while seated, opening up the joints and activating the muscles.

Anu Amaran takes a creative approach to deepening the practice of writing using writing exercises and games, suggested readings, and collaborative revision strategies.  She engages you to use your voice and natural self-expression.  

Come to the library to hear the classic story of Peter and the Wolf as read by David Bowie! Make your own animal mask from the story to take home!

How do animals access food, resources, and shelter?  Join local author Jillian Henthorn for a story and lesson all about animal habitats, and then create a 3-D habitat diorama to take home! [Date change from 4/27]

Join us for a special PARP Art Class with Alexis Starke!  This class is in conjunction with the South Orangetown Central School District's PARP program.
