Join a dedicated group that sets out for a weekly, hour long walk on the Joseph B. Clarke Rail Trail (weather permitting). Meet up at Blauvelt Free Library.

Explore new spices, new cuisines, and new cultures by joining the Spice of the Month Club. Your kit will contain a sample of the spice, a brief history, and some recipes to try.

These sessions are first come first serve. Bring a friend, meet a friend, and please bring your own materials.

Zumba Gold is for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity.

Library staff visit the Esplanade at Palisades to offer library card signups and books to borrow.

Our Adult Book Club meets once a month to have a lively discussion about a new book.   Members work together to pick a variety of books- usually fiction, but sometimes memoirs.

Share knitting and crocheting projects, learn some stitches and techniques, and generally have fun chatting with others. Bring your needles, crochet hooks and some yarn.  

Help our feathered friends through the winter with bird seed ornaments to hang outside.

Have you ever gotten so lost in the world of a book that you wish it would jump off the page and come alive? Join our Graphic Novel Book Club where members meet each month to discuss a book of their choice. 

Join us for funny songs, wacky props, dancing and bubbles! 

Listen to some wintery snowmen stories, create a snow globe winter scene and play the snowman mummy game!

If you are a teenager (ages 11 - 18)  and would like to shape what goes on at your local library, we invite you to join YAK!

Join the Teen Advisory Board.  Come to our meeting to do a small project and talk with other teens. This meeting counts as one hour of community service!  You must sign up for each month separately.

Journey 100 years back in American history!  1925 is the year that highlighted the cultural divide in the United States. There was the Scopes Monkey Trial in Dayton, Tennessee where evolution was the focus.

The next event in our popular series Create and Sip for Adults with Alexis Starke is coming up!  You asked and we listened- this month's Create and Sip will be in person on Wednesday, January 15th, from 6:30 - 7:45 pm.

Be inspired by famous artists of the past and present through drawing, painting, and collage.  All levels welcome.  Sign up per session.
